How Markshot works
Head-to-head prediction battles on live markets. Connect a wallet, stake Marks, beat your opponent, take the pot. Withdraw deposits and winnings on Robinhood Chain.
Getting started
You need a browser wallet. Markshot never asks for your seed phrase. Sign-in costs no MARKS or ETH. Deposits and withdrawals need a little Robinhood ETH for gas.

Connect your wallet
Click Connect and pick a wallet. Approve the sign-in message ("Sign in to Markshot", not a transaction). Your wallet must be on Robinhood Chain. Markshot signs you in after you connect.

Add Robinhood Chain (if needed)
Markshot signs you in on Robinhood Chain. Most users can connect in one click. Your wallet will prompt you to switch or add the network.
By wallet
- Robinhood Wallet: Robinhood Chain works out of the box; no manual setup.
- Other wallets: add a custom network only if the switch prompt does not appear.

Set your display name
3–20 characters: letters, numbers, underscores. Required before welcome Marks and before you create or join battles.

You're set
Your name and Marks balance show in the header. Tap the balance to deposit or withdraw. Open Profile for stats, welcome Marks, and history.
Marks
Marks are the in-app currency for battle stakes. Deposit from your wallet, win battles, withdraw what you deposited plus winnings.

Balances
Header shows total Marks you can stake. On Profile: Play is bonus and refund Marks; Withdrawable is deposits and wins. Minimum deposit and withdraw: 10,000 Marks each.
- Staked Marks lock until the battle ends or is cancelled
- Play Marks are spent first when you stake
- You can't withdraw Marks locked in an active battle
Deposit
Header balance or Profile → Deposit. Send at least 10,000 MARKS from your wallet (Robinhood ETH for gas). Withdrawable balance updates after a few confirmations.
Withdraw
Same panel when you have at least 10,000 withdrawable Marks. Connected wallet must match your signed-in address. Approve the vault withdrawal in your wallet. Balance updates in-app right away; MARKS hit your wallet after chain confirmation. Daily and per-transaction limits apply.
History
Profile → Marks History lists stakes, wins, refunds, deposits, and withdrawals.
Battles
One player creates a battle; another takes the opposite side. When time runs out, the outcome picks the winner.

Create
Battles → Create Battle (profile required). Price battles: pick a market (147 stocks, 25 crypto, 25 Robinhood's Finest, and 12 commodities), UP or DOWN, timeframe, stake 100–10,000,000 Marks. Event battles: pick a match and team. Your stake locks until the battle finishes or is cancelled.

Join
Browse Open battles and take the opposite side at the same stake. Confirm your pick before Marks lock. You can't join your own battle.

While waiting
Creators can cancel unfilled battles; stakes refund. Price battles expire after 24 hours if nobody joins. Event battles stay open until the match ends, then refund if still unfilled.

Resolution
Price battles: compare entry to exit price. UP wins if price rose; DOWN if it fell. Tie = both refunded. Winner takes the pot.
Battle tabs

Event battles
- Pick a match, choose the winning team, same stake range as price battles
- Draw refunds both sides
- Live score on active battles
Group battles
When available: up to 8 players per side. Winning side splits the pot evenly.
- Filters on each tab: direction, stake, timeframe, market, outcome
Leaderboards
Rankings update after battles resolve.

Wallet safety
Markshot never sees your private key or seed phrase.
- Sign-in is a plain-text message, not a transfer
- Bookmark the site and check the URL before connecting
- Never approve a transaction you didn't expect
- Use a separate wallet if you want to isolate play funds
- Wrong network? Switch to Robinhood Chain (see Getting started)
- Deposits and withdrawals need Robinhood ETH for gas; sign-in does not

- The marketplace will add a MARKS swap widget and optional listings on Robinhood Chain.
- More battle types and social features
